“The Hunter LEAP Firearms Qualification Course — Firearms and Hunting Safety (Long-arms) — is approved by the NSW Police Force Firearms Registry. Completing this course is a mandatory legal requirement before you can apply for a Category A or B firearms licence in NSW. Upon successful completion you will receive your Firearms Safety Course Certificate, ready to submit with your application to the NSW Police Firearms Registry.”

New England Hunters & Gatherers was founded by people who grew up in the Australian bush — people for whom hunting and outdoor life aren't hobbies, they're heritage.
We believe that responsible firearm ownership starts with education. Our Hunter LEAP Firearms Qualification Course was built to give every student — beginner or experienced — the knowledge and confidence they need to handle firearms safely.
Based in Armidale, NSW, we serve our community with small class sizes, experienced instructors, and a genuine passion for the outdoor traditions that define this region.
